Ghee Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 2 tbsp Pure Desi Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 4-5 Whole Black Peppercorns
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Rinse and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes. Drain.
  2. Heat ghee in a pot; add cumin, peppercorns, cloves, and bay leaf. Sauté until aromatic.
  3. Add the rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add water (2 cups) and salt. Cover and cook until the rice is done.
  5. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
