Ingredients:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup classic energy trail mix
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, and classic energy trail mix.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, heat the nut butter and honey/maple syrup until melted and smooth (about 30-45 seconds).
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down firmly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Cut into bars and serve.
